Decay – Survival – Healing

Samuel Githinji - Kenya

My great concern is Survival
a struggle from all decaying and cutting
it feels bitter
everything is falling and finishing

Worth turning worthless
repairable to irreparable
where there is a need to Heal
It is a decline, a plague
without an established cause.

The artworks are my interpretation of Contemporary Society
looking at it through Landscape Paining
finding no comfort where there should be
it is a struggle to Heal
bring together

With much gratitude I would like to give credit to the artist Gor Soudan, who inspired me, through his Wire Sculptures and enabled me to express my ideas and minds in desired strength.
